Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) Guidelines
As of the 1st of July 2010 the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship requires all International Students to obtain OSHC for the duration of their Student visa. Visa length OSHC will be quoted on your UTAS letter of offer.
Students who have a CoE or have applied for their student visa prior to 1 July 2010 will not be required to provide course length OSHC, however one year course length cover will still be required. Please note: the condition of the Student visa requires Students to maintain adequate health insurance for the duration of their visa.
Ordering your Medibank OSHC Card
UTAS International Students are now required to order their OSHC card from Medibank online.
