Scholarships at UTAS
The University of Tasmania has been providing generous scholarships to international students for over a decade and in some countries is commonly referred to as "The Scholarships University".
Our largest scholarship program, the Tasmanian International Scholarship Scheme (TISS) provides a generous discount in tuition fees and rewards high achieving students for achievements in previous studies. TISS are available for most undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees offered by UTAS and are also available for the Foundation Studies Program.

For those students who are not awarded a scholarship, there are a number of different tuition fee discounts available. It is certainly worth checking whether you may be eligible for one of these discounts.
UTAS also has a number of scholarships available for Higher Degree Research studies, Masters and PhD, and information on these scholarships and external scholarships available for research can be found on the UTAS Scholarships Website.
