Our Students - Nuttaneeya Torugsa (Ann)

Nuttaneeya Torugsa (Ann)Research Higher Degree student - School of Management, UTAS

Rather than make the move straight into the workforce after graduating with a Master of International Business in 2007, Ann has decided to further her studies. She is now pursuing a research masters (leading into a PhD) with UTAS in the area of corporate sustainability practice and performance in Australian SME’s.

Having completed a Bachelor of Economics from Thammasat University in her home country of Thailand, Ann chose UTAS over other Master of International Business providers for many reasons including the reputation of its Business faculty, modern facilities, competitive fees, course structure and friendly and safe environment. During the course of her studies Ann has also found that the quality of the teaching staff, student support network and hands-on practical approach to learning have made for a very positive study experience.

“During my masters study at UTAS, I have learned a great deal about how to express opinions, perform analysis and actively challenge, solve and generate ideas. Such skills have developed my ability to think critically and to conduct potential research, and indeed this helps me a lot with my research higher degree studies. I also love the pristine environment in Tasmania (beautiful beaches and interesting wildlife) and the Tasmanian people; they are so friendly and welcoming.”
