Isabel graduated from the UTAS with Master of Education and Master of Education (Honours) degrees in 2005.
Having completed a Bachelor of Arts in Harbin, China, Isabel chose UTAS for her further studies on the advice of her friends. “They were right – Tasmania is a nice place to study, with friendly people and beautiful natural scenery”.
“My studies at UTAS developed my ability to teach and conduct research related to tertiary education. I found independent learning and critical and analytic thinking to be highlights of my studies. I would definitely recommend UTAS to anyone who is serious about undertaking further university studies”.
Isabel is currently working as a lecturer in Chinese at the University of Tasmania.
