The Information Technology Services division provides computer services on both major campuses of the University, including computer laboratories with a range of software applications and network facilities; training courses; computer shops; and equipment rentals.
There are a number of computer laboratories on each campus, some with restricted access, but several with 24 hour access. Use of the computers is free, althoughcharges are generally made for laser printing.Most laboratories have laser printers,and the cost of printing varies.Specialist laboratories for CAD,UNIX and VAX also are on each campus.
Network access via the University's connections to AARNet for electronic mail (e-mail) and the Internet is available through IT Services. E-mail accounts are available to students by completing a user registration form.
