Please ensure that you arrive in advance to recover from jet lag, find or settle in to your accommodation and participate in the compulsory International student orientation programme. Check the International Services weblink before you depart to find out the location and daily times of the programme. The orientation programme can change.

During orientation you will receive guidance and relevant information about UTAS services, course registration, Clubs and Societies, Enrolment procedures, Library and IT assistance, Health and Safety and individual faculty orientation. In addition you can participate in campus and city tours conducted by current International students.

Course Registration/Enrolment

During orientation week you will register your arrival and be given your username and password to access the UTAS information network and internet. Changes to any units approved to study after your arrival at UTAS must be made before census date. It’s important that any changes you wish to make that you seek approval first from your home institution as you may not be given credit for it.

A special session during orientation week will be provided to show you how to access your personalized enrolment online which will include viewing your class timetable, units chosen to study, lecture notes, tutorial sessions, unit materials and exam timetable.
