A solid foundation for your future studies

Course Structure

The Foundation Studies Program is an intensive 32 week (720 hour) course. There is a 2 week break half way through the course but students may be set assignments during this time.

Semester 1
  • 15 weeks Foundation Studies Program classes
  • 1 week Examinations
  • 2 week Mid-semester Vacation period
Semester 2
  • 15 weeks Foundation Studies Program classes
  • 1 week Examinations

Subjects

All students students study:

  • Academic English
  • Australian Studies
  • Computing and Research

Students also study subjects that are relevant to their future university program. Each of these subjects has a four-hour component per week, including lectures, tutorials, practicals and research.
