About the Foundation Studies Program
- The Foundation Studies program is specifically designed for students who need to upgrade their academic results to meet university entry requirements.
- Successful completion of the Foundation Studies Program provides direct entry to most degree courses at this University including Law, Computing, Pharmacy, Engineering and Commerce. Note: This does not include Medicine or Psychology
- Please note that entry to Pharmacy is conditional upon your final Foundation results, and the minimum GPA required for this degree program does not guarantee entry due to limited available places. Entry will be awarded on merit.
- Students must have IELTS scores of 5 or TOEFL 500 and TWE 3 or TOEFL (CB) 173 and essay minimum of 3.0.
- Students are taught in small groups by University tutors with very good knowledge of the content of 1st Year University subjects in their area.
- Foundation Studies students become very familiar with the content of their 1st Year subjects and cover some of the topics in this program.
