The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is among the oldest public universities in North America, and the oldest English-language university in Canada. We are located in the Eastern-Canadian Maritime province of New Brunswick, which borders the US Eastern state of Maine.

New Brunswick is the only officially bilingual (English/French) province in Canada with beautiful nature.

UNB offers world-class programs while maintaining a small-university experience with a low student-to-faculty ratio.

The university consists of 2 campuses – Fredericton and Saint John.

The Fredericton campus is located in the provincial capital and was named one of the Top 7 Intelligent Communities by the New York-based Intelligent Communities Forum. UNB Fredericton’s student population is 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students. In Fredericton, students can take arts, business administration, computer science, education, engineering, forestry and environmental management, kinesiology, law, nursing, and science.

The Saint John campus is located in the south-eastern part of New Brunswick on the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick’s financial and industrial centre. UNB Saint John’s student population is 3,000 students, mainly undergraduate. In Saint John, students can take arts, business, and science, applied science and engineering courses. In 2010, Saint John was designated a Cultural Capital in Canada.
