The dedicated Study Tours office, located within our University owned English Language Centres can provide you with a customised program that is best suited to your group’s needs. Ranging from English language development and practice through to professional courses, we cater to a variety of career, research and interest areas.

 

English language programs
  • Two options available – EITHER join regular classes* in the UTAS English Language Centre OR study in a stand-alone group class with a customised language program to suit specific needs and language level
  • Build English language proficiency in all skill areas while participating in lively, motivating, yet challenging language classes
  • Opportunities to communicate, and connect with others from a variety of international and local backgrounds
  • Small class sizes allow for individual interaction and personal attention
  • Plenty of opportunity to practise English

*The English Language Centre provides classes across 7 language levels throughout the year.  Classes operate on a module basis (5 weeks) with fixed start and finish dates ELC module dates.  Flexible arrangements in relation to dates and module length can be negotiated for group Study Tours only.

Accommodation

Staying with an Australian family in Homestay is a wonderful way to experience the Australian lifestyle and help improve English skills.  Alternatively, arrangements can be made for study tour participants to stay at University residential colleges* or in hotels, apartments or hostels located near the campus.

*Residential colleges are only available at specific times

Costs

Programs are tailored to the needs of each group so fees vary depending on length and type of program chosen, accommodation, and any optional activities or services required.
