Application & Payment Steps

  1. A candidate completes an application and forwards it to the CELTA tutors.

  2. The ELC contacts the candidate and an interview time is arranged.

  3. At the interview or very soon afterwards (and if everything is satisfactory), the candidate is notified of their acceptance for the course.

  4. Once accepted for the course, the candidate pays a $200 deposit (to confirm a place in their nominated course).

  5. Once the deposit is received, the candidate is sent a ‘Pre-course Task’ (to help with preparation for the course).

  6. 2 weeks before the course starts (or earlier), the candidate pays the balance of the fees ($2,300).

If applications are made very close to the course starting date, the candidate will most likely be asked to pay in full.
