Courses available after completing Foundation Studies Program

Entry requirements (pdf) including a complete list of GPA scores required for entry into undergraduate degree programs offered at UTAS for our Foundation Studies students.

Applicants should refer to the online Course and Unit Handbook for information on any pre-requisite subjects.

Current Foundation Studies students should discuss any pre-requisites with International Admissions staff.

English Language Requirements for entry into UTAS degrees

To meet the English language requirements of UTAS Bachelor degrees, FSP students need a minimum grade of 6.0 in Academic English (with the exception of Education and some Health Science programs - please see flyer above for more details)

FSP students who fail to achieve 6.0 may be requested to take an IELTS test through the English Language Centre.

Admission to Other Universities

The UTAS Foundation Studies Program has been recognised and accepted as meeting the entry requirements by universities in every state of Australia.

Students are advised to check required GPA score with respective institutions.
